East Bay

East Bay is part of the Grand Traverse Bay, which is a breath taking, cyrstlal clear, bay of Lake Michigan. The bay is 32 miles long, 10 miles wide, and up to 620 feet deep. It is divided into two arms by the Old Mission Peninsula (near Traverse City proper), East Bay and West Bay. East Bay is a favorite spot for locals and vactioners alike for sailing, fishing and enjoying a day at the beach.
